How much can you reach out to a group that is OPENLY intransigent and tells you every day there can in fact be no peace? What is it they want? Do they want us to hand over the US to them and leave? Just once I would like a black person to tell me what would satisfy them–what would finally bring it all to an end. You’ll never hear it though–because they don’t want it to end, they need to nurse their grievances forever in order to extort racial spoils from a White populace that will feel increasingly alienated from the Black experience of oppression. Does anyone think the generation who’s first presidential vote was cast for OBAMA is going to feel guilty about Blacks? Even WORSE for them will be the coming Hispanic power. Hispanics don’t have one iota of guilt for the Black experience and will devote their tenure in power to bending the racial spoils system to their benefit, leaving the now marginalized and uncared about Blacks out in the cold. Hopefully I won’t be watching it from Hong Kong.
I don’t think that hating whites is an essential, built-in feature of the African. I’m convinced that this hate is stoked and cultivated by Cultural Marxists or whatever you wanna call our propagandists. I come across too many blacks, even ghetto-looking blacks, who seem geniunely nice and pleasant, to think that they are all programmed by nature to hate us.
I am not under any kumbayah delusions — there will always be innate boundaries between our races because we’re simply too different in hardware and software — but they needn’t manifest themselves as hate.

I agree with your whole comment, hence my second paragraph, even if my comment was very softball. My point was that the pitch and articulation of hate like the one Dana cited is cultivated by a class of whites in whose interest it is to keep blacks in a state of directed agitation.

Like you I was specifically raised not to be racist. I was told stories about the civil rights movement, Rosa Parks, etc. However, years of experience makes me think there is no solution to our country’s racial problems (no easy one anyway). I agree with PA that many blacks don’t hate all white people, I have black people be friendly to me all the time. When push comes to shove, though, they are black and will side with other blacks over you. There are very few exceptions to this.

I’m with Gunnie. My experience has been like his. My “own kind” dissed me while Black people embraced me wholeheartedly.
Moreover I don’t meet any more “bitter blacks” than I do “bitter whites”. Both are a minority in real life but seem to have a loud voice on the internet.
I’m optimistic about the future once the final generation who was raised during segregation dies off.

I’ve heard that blacks and hispanics don’t get along that well. I’m not an expert on it though. I’ve noticed that news reports from the ghetto seem to include some hispanic names.
There’s a lot of interracial dating and shacking up between Hispanics and Blacks in the towns and neighborhoods where they live close to one another. It’s in the prisons where gangs form along ethnic lines where the issue is at.
Mexicans don’t like black Americans, period. It should be pretty obvious looking at ethnic distribution maps that when Latinos move in, blacks move out and vice versa. People self-segregate and only ‘get along’ when they are forced to, and that includes in prison. The various ethnic cliques socialize, even though they do their best to segregate what little breathing space they get. In the real world they wouldn’t even deign to share the same exercise equipment, public restrooms, and libraries becuase they would be in completely different communities. So prisons are less racist than real life, even though the people aren’t as superficially nice. They have no ability to insulate themselves from desegragation.
As for the ‘White People’ lamenting mistreatment at the hands of your own kind, that is because ‘White People’ are a myth. 400 years ago there was no such thing as a White Person. We all had our own ethny, and we fucking hated each other. Our folkways and national identities have been burned to ash in the charnel house of cultures that is America. We have sought to do this to ‘visible minorities’ as well, but their extreme phenotype differences make incorporating them into the ‘White People’ utopian, one world ethnic group impossible.
The other obvious reason should be that White People congregate overwhelmingly with White People. If you are suffering ‘abuse’ (and lets not joke, you are talking about social abuse here), it is going to be by people that you spend the most time with. Here is your project. For the next year, do absolutely no socializing with any white people. Not your family, wife, kids, co-workers, employers, et cetera. Move into a 90%+ black neighborhood and only socialized, work and live among blacks. Now, see if your overall levels of abuse increase or decrease.
Everyone castigates the RCC for child abuse, when the number one abuser of children are their own kin (who they spend the majority of their time with and in the care of). Would it follow that child abuse would go down if all children were taken from their parents and given into the hands of Catholic priests? I’m going to say, probably not. In fact, I’d say overall that parents are the best people to raise their own children for many reasons, and that even ostensibly well intentioned strangers will be more abusive than biological relatives.
Likewise, black criminals overwhelming prey on black people, as they are criminals within overwhelming black communities. This doesn’t imply that blacks hate blacks, although apparently it does imply to you that whites hate whates when someone publicly humiliates you.
